- Selection
Fraserwood represents all children's book trade publishers and many educational publishers. For your convenience, we maintain stock of many new releases for children and many current popular titles. Any book not in stock is promptly ordered from our suppliers, arriving in 2 to 10 days depending on the supplier's location. For those few educational publishers who sell only to institutions, we would be pleased to check the price and availabilty of any titles you require and report back to you with the information you need to place the order.

- Selection Assistance
We share your passion for children's books and set our standards high when choosing children's books to recommend. We carefully research and review each season's crop of new titles, gathering input from teacher-librarians and also considering the opinions of the major library journals as part of our selection process.
From this time well-spent, and with your needs in mind, we develop our lists of recommended children's titles for the current season. Our methods have proven successful in helping us to discover each season's "gems", and it is indeed a treat to share with our customers new books that sparkle with superior writing and illustrations.

Personal Service
Personal service is at the heart of Fraserwood Books' business. We visit teacher-librarians at their schools, make suggestions, provide information and bring book samples that are tailored to their priorities and their library's needs. We take note of any books they request as we talk - there's no need for our customers to fill in order forms or track down ISBNs.
We Appreciate Teacher-Librarians!
We believe that school library programs are essential in helping children develop critical information literacy skills. These days, however, teacher-librarians have got more responsibilities and fewer resources than ever before. Our goal is to relieve teacher-librarians of the administrative burden of book purchasing, so that they can focus on their more important tasks.
Thousands of new books roll off the presses of the major children's publishers each year, and dozens of catalogues arrive in your mailbox. How can you possibly find time to review them all? You don't need to, because we do it for you!
Through our in-school visits with you, our print publications and our email bulletins, we keep you up-to-date on the best new children's titles each season and help you stay informed about promising new titles in specific topic areas that interest you. Just get in touch and let us know what you need.
